We had the great pleasure of participating in the Air Innovation Roundtable 2025 in Prague on June 11–12, organised by V4+ Airports Association and Prague Airport. The Air 2025 Conference brought together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers and innovators from the V4+ and across Europe to exchange ideas and explore the future of aviation.
Grzegorz Zajaczkowski, Founder and CTO of Aithernal, led a distinguished panel of experts:
- Martin Kučera, Member of the Board and Chief Operations & Security Officer at Prague Airport
- Laila Odina, CEO of RIX Riga Airport and Board Member of ACI EUROPE
- N.Murat Destek, MBA, Senior Advisor at Toruz Systems
- Amanda Mai Khuong-Duc Khuong-Duc, Head of Vision Hub at GHARAGE
The discussion focused on a key question how artificial intelligence is transforming airport management. We explored real tools, real challenges and real results.

We looked at whether AI is truly making a difference in airport operations and heard concrete examples from the field. Panelists shared the tools and systems they use daily and how these technologies improve efficiency and decision-making.
The conversation also touched on the future and which areas of airport operations are next in line for AI-driven transformation.
Just as importantly, we addressed the risks involved such as cybersecurity, system failures and ethical concerns.
Finally, we explored how AI strategies are being shaped, who leads the AI agenda in today’s airports, whether formal policies exist and whether AI is replacing human roles or enabling stronger cooperation.
AI is more than a buzzword; it’s already reshaping airport operations. From predictive analytics to smart security and efficient workflows, the change is real and it’s just the beginning.
